Well all we have done it we have reached the top 10.We moved into 10th place today!It is because of everyone of you working together as an unbeatable team!!I am impressed with every one of you for an alliance that is only 1 1/2 months old you have all done an amazing job!!It’s too bad Scott isn’t here to see it but I know happy he would be!!So Thank-you everyone and there is only one place left for us to go and with all of you it is absolutely achievable!!!!

OK it seems Laurie managed to get her account back but now Scott has gone on a camping trip and will not be back until Sunday.

Just a heads up for you, one of the crusaders leaders, Laurie Dore, has had her facebook account banned for sending to many messages. We will keep a close eye and see if she is given her account back.

PS. Scott is now tied with Ryan Thrasher for most popular person on KOTW.

Interview with The Crusaders leader.

So, Scott, you’ve become the leader of a pretty successful alliance. What gave you the idea to start The Crusaders?

Jim , Brian and I decided that having an alliance of our own was the best move for us. Jim and Brian were independent players and I have been involved in a couple of alliances; Spartans, The North Men and most recently Exiles. Although I enjoyed my time in all three I began too see subtle changes that I wanted too incorporate in the alliances that I did not really think were a useful part to KOTW. Therefore the best decision was to create my own alliance and institute what I believe is the most dynamic way to run an alliance. Jim, Brian and myself started The Crusaders and so far it’s coming along very nicely. We started out ranked 36 and now have jumped too number 12 ranked in just a few short weeks!

The Crusaders is an original name, how did you think of this title?

The Crusaders name just seem like a good name considering what we wanted to portray. We help out the new players and turn them into incredible warriors, scholars, specialized or balanced players. It is up to the members to decide which way they want to pursue and we help them achieve those goals. I have designed several templates too pursue those options and the members decide to follow that but also tweak them around to suit their fancy which I totally agree with and actually encourage it. That is the dynamic part of our alliance and why The Crusaders is the perfect name for us.

What are your goals for the alliance in the future?

To be the number one alliance in King of the World. (Of course.)

How would you achieve that status?

It will take time and patience but recruiting new players and of course any seasoned players that will eventually decide to join us is a task that I relish and enjoy. We have had people just starting out join us and have turned them into very high ranked power players already and we are committed to doing the same with everyone who joins us. This is how we eventually will be ranked number one but it will take time and patience.
As for goals for this alliance that is a changing aspect that the members themselves decide … my goals are their goals whatever they want too achieve I will personally help as will everyone involved with The Crusaders.

Hey guys, I just noticed this in the discussion boards but, Don is asking for input on the option of buying battle and royal standards. Wow this would be awesome, I’d have to hole myself up for awhile and just buy land all the time.

What do you think?

Ceasefire on Dark Knights! …and The Wastelanders.

This message was received by the members of The Crusaders from Scott.

Effective immediately there is a ceasefire in effect with the Alliance of The Dark Knights. This means that for the duration of this week DO NOT attack a member of The Dark Knights. I am currently in talks with Tyler Ash of them of a possible NAP and this will include non aggression against The Wastelanders as well. Any concerns or suggestions please let me know and post on our discussion board under the appropriate heading. Thank you.

OK, recals.

Scratch that last post, now the recals are done!
Same stuff, different ranks for our top 3 members.

Scott – rank 99, his motto reads; “What now???”, as he has reached the rank naming him duke.
Lisa – Climbed to rank 134
Garrett – Went down actually, to rank 168

And The Crusaders still sit at a nice rank of 14.

The king also changed his motto, to a much sadder sounding line. “A Fond Farewell….” is what it now reads, wonder what that means?
